Since the new APP had been implemented last season it has had more than 76.000 downloads.
This app, specifically designed for Parque Warner in the 2013’s season, it’s a part of the improvement project of the interactive communication Chanels that Inversa Global has developed together with the Beabloo Company. With the aim of increasing and making easier the park information, Iversa Global has set up more than 30 professional screens, spread out all around the park, with digital information and the interaction of the social network with the park users.
Both, the digital notice board system and the mobile application, have improved the experience of the visitor in the park. In the 2013-2014’s season this app almost reached 70.000 mobile downloads and in the current season the downloading process is drawing a similar graph, with more than 6.000 downloads during the firsts months, expecting to lead last season’s numbers.
The newness of this app is the geolocalised formula, which allows visitors to find information about waiting times, performances timetables, the status of the restaurants, …while the visitor is inside the enclosure. This information disappears automatically when the guest leaves the park, with the purpose of showing othergeneralaspectsabout the park; such as promotions, news, the different rides information, the systems, etc. This information is also shown while visitors are in the park using the APP. This way, the park can guarantee thedisplaying in real time of the most accurate information.
This is a free application and the visitors can download it in their Smartphone with a QR code found in different sites all around the park or on: http://goo.glLXQ1i. Once the visitor has downloaded it the following information can be viewed through the phone:
– Waiting time in the principal rides.
– Schedules of all the shows.
– Location of the Principal characters.
– Information, menus and restaurant promotions.
– Offers and promotions in stores.
– Practical information for the visitor.
– Park newness.
– Map of the park.
Parque Warner has been the first European theme park to use a communication and interaction channel with their visitors using both Digital Signage screens and the mobile application, thereby achieving to be in the technologic cutting edge of their sector. In addition, it does offer the visitors all the information in an easy and fluent way, in order to provide a new and satisfactory experience.
The whole channel information is managed from a software platform which allows creating the content only once as well as publishing it in a way that it is automatically adapted to each mobile device (Android, iPhone, …), digital Signage screens, websites and social networks.
